We are proud to share the news that our Project Leader Janet, has been awarded the honour of British Empire Medal for her services to the Community of Knottingley and Knottingley Foodbank.
With support from the Churches Together initiative Janet was instrumental in establishing Knottingley Foodbank in 2013. As well as the daily running, organising and planning for the foodbank she has been an avid fundraiser too including having a regular stall on Pontefract Market.
Her foodbank family are delighted for her achievement and only wish we could all get together and celebrate with her!
